Real Alcazar de Sevilla: A Photo Post

Whether you’d like to learn the in depth history of the Real Alcazar de Sevilla or just spend an afternoon in a gorgeous location, this palace has got you covered. Originally built in 913 as a fort, the majority of the palace we see today was constructed in the 1300s and though it has seen many changes since then as well, the intricate and impressive architecture of its hey-day has been preserved.

Out in the garden. I was lucky to be there in May when the Jacaranda trees are in bloom.

If you need a break during your visit, there’s a small cafe with cold drinks, ice cream, snacks, and small sandwiches. Sit on the patio to enjoy garden views with your snack break.
